About Me
My name is John Reimers and I have been specializing in residential construction for over 30 years both as a site supervisor and licensed general contractor.
Through exposure to a wide variety of architectural styles and unique client concerns, I have developed a strong sense of the building requirements for a top-quality home and a satisfied homeowner. Craftsmanship and solid construction practices are priorities.
During construction, I am the jobsite advocate for the owner to ensure that they receive the home they desire. To that end, I assist in the design process, provide qualified tradesmen, and manage the job funds.
I am educated in sustainable building and current green practices, have ICF experience (having used them in my own home), and take pride in creating distinctive interiors to enhance my clients' lifestyle.
We manufacture plank doors, great for rustic or Southwest interiors.
I was raised in Los Angeles, later moving to Northern California and graduated from the University of California. I spent most of my working life there on a range of projects from a San Francisco penthouse to a Sausalito cottage. I moved to Cortez in 2007 with my wife, Diane, and built our home.
